PAINTING 'LIVE' IN THE DARK...

I painted this piece live during ADG’s 2024 Spring Concert on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. It was a joy to perform alongside the dancers and drummers! It was particularly challenging as I got to paint during a production that had beautifully-executed cues, stage notes and lighting. What began as a ‘usual live painting,’ ended up challenging me to learn to paint live in the dark! While I was certainly nervous at first, I adjusted my mind and remembered that the foundation on which I stood was solid. I allowed the process, the plan and the ultimate creator to take the lead. Due to pure exhaustion and all of the excitement at the end of the performance, we didn't get a chance to auction it off that night. Now you have a chance to bid on this original painting AND contribute to a meaningful cause. I knew this piece would find it’s way back around to this special moment :)
